Independently controlled dual blocks - Unique dual sample block design permits execution of two different programs simultaneously and independently.

            The gradient block allows the EXP Cycler to 
            easily find an optimal PCR condition. A maximum 
            gradient of 30°C can be realized.

            The integral hot-lid provides oil-free operation. Hot lid 
            pressure is adjustable, allowing optimum pressure 
            adjustment for different kinds of tubes.

            XP Cyclers offer two startup modes. Mode 2 over-
            heats the block briefly at startup to bring tubes up to 
            desired temperature fast; then the program returns 
            the block to the programmed maintenance 
            temperature. Mode 1 is the conventional startup mode 
            where the block is heated to the desired maintenance 
            tempera­ture; it takes slightly longer for the samples 
            to reach temperature
